Excellent wind conditions, distance to residential areas and compatibility with existing land-use purposes in the area make the Jäkäläkangas project area favourable for the production of wind power.

Ilmatar Service Oy, a subsidiary of Ilmatar Energy, handles the wind farms’ technical and commercial management.
Ownership
Ilmatar owns the Jäkäläkangas wind farm through its subsidiary.
