Background
The planned solar power park in the Haara area of Loimaa is intended to be built on an approximately 84-hectare site and is expected to generate electricity with a nominal capacity of 64 MWp.
The project is in the licensing phase. The STR application received a positive decision from the licensing committee on June 14, 2023. Its legal forcefulness has been appealed to the administrative court, and the final decision on its legal force will be made by the administrative court. We will apply for a building permit in October 2023. Construction could commence in 2027, with an initial commercial production targeted for 2028.
Management and Operation
Upon completion of the high-quality technical and commercial management of the solar park, the responsibility will lie with Ilmatar’s subsidiary, Ilmatar Service Oy.
