Background
Ilmatar Offshore plans to plan, build and operate offshore wind power in two areas north of Åland, identified as suitable in the Åland Maritime Spatial Plan.
The wind farm is named after Väderskär, one of the 6 700 islands in the Åland archipelago.
Status
Seabed survey ongoing, expected to be completed in spring 2023.
