Background
Ilmatar Offshore is planning offshore wind power in the Finnish Exclusive Economic Zone off Pietarsaari. The Voima wind farm is located in the area north of the Kvarken.
Status
The research permit for the area, granted by the Government and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, was received in December 2022.
