Ilmatar’s hybrid farm enters commercial production – 36 wind turbines set for year end completion

Built in Alajärvi, South Ostrobothnia, Ilmatar’s hybrid farm and its first completed wind turbines commenced production in early June. Currently, eight turbines are already producing renewable energy with a total rated capacity of 48 MW. By the end of 2023, the production of renewable energy will reach full capacity of 220 MW with 36 wind turbines. Ilmatar plans a 40 MWp solar farm in Finland

Plans to build an industrial-size solar farm with a total rated capacity of approximately 40 MWp are underway at Pöytyä municipality in western Finland. The farm will produce an estimated 40 gigawatt hours of electricity per year, corresponding to the consumption of about 2,000 houses. The development area totals roughly 60 hectares. Read More

Ilmatar Solar AB to Build the Largest Solar Park in Northern Europe

Ilmatar Solar AB, the subsidiary of Ilmatar Energy, is planning the construction of Northern Europe’s largest solar park in Tönnersjö outside Halmstad in Halland county, Sweden. The land lease agreement with Silvestica Green Forest Sverige AB has been signed and allows the construction of a 450-megawatt solar park. Read More
