The VAT rate for electricity will be temporarily reduced from 24% to 10%.
The reduced rate shall apply from 1 December 2022 to 30 April 2023. The change will become effective on 1 December 2022, and it is based on the temporary amendment to the Finnish VAT Act. The VAT rate will be 24% as of 1 May 2023.
No customer action is required regarding this temporary change in the VAT rate.
This notice only applies to the temporary change in the VAT rate specified hereinabove.
Contracts valid under further notice can be terminated with a 14-day termination period.
