Anna is passionate about getting people from all levels of society on the same fast lane track – transitioning society to operate on renewable energy fully.
In her former work life and career, she’s assisted politicians, MEPs, public servants, company board members, landowners, and the general public to understand each other’s agenda and how they perceive “What is sustainable development to you and others?”. If the world is to change for the better, we will need everyone on board to make it so. And we can only do this by understanding how this change affects other people, not just ourselves and our peers.
Anna is a BSc. Molecular biology and an International MSc. Sustainable Development, with a focus area on water and energy management.
She is an appreciated public speaker and is often invited to panel discussions about sustainable development, the importance of gender equality and leadership, societal justice and change, youth empowerment, environment, and ecosystem services. She has served as a board member and chairperson on several NGO and ENGO boards.
Häger is from the Åland Island, where she lives with her family on the countryside. Trivia: She’s a professionally trained opera singer, a true islander, and a Jack-of-all-trades!
