Ilmatar Takes a Significant Step Forward with Sweden’s Largest Solar Park

After 1.5 years of investigations, the application for Sweden's currently largest planned solar cell park has been completed and submitted for environmental review to the County Administrative Board in Östergötland. At Ilmatar's 550-hectare project area in Olivehult, solar energy production is planned to coexist with sheep grazing in collaboration with the farm Wästanå Gård. Read More

Korpilevonmäki Wind Farm Secures Long-Term Financing and Partnerships

In November 2023, Ilmatar announced an investment decision related to the Korpilevonmäki wind project in Säkylä, South-West Finland. Korpilevonmäki wind farm consists of six modern wind turbines with a total nominal capacity of 38.4 megawatts (MW) and it is expected to be operational by 2025. The wind farm has a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) on place for electricity procurement. Read More
