In November 2023, Ilmatar announced an investment decision related to the Korpilevonmäki wind project in Säkylä, South-West Finland. Korpilevonmäki wind farm consists of six modern wind turbines with a total nominal capacity of 38.4 megawatts (MW) and it is expected to be operational by 2025. The Finnish Wind Power Association (Suomen Tuulivoimayhdistys, STY) announced on 2 January that year 2023 was the second busiest year in history for wind power construction in Finland, measured by the number of turbines. The results were once again very positive, and Ilmatar was awarded the Future Workplaces certificate for the second year in a row.
