Background
The solar power park planned for the Verhonkulma area in Koski Tl is intended to be built on a maximum of 120 hectares of land and could generate electricity with a nominal capacity of up to 75 MWp. Preliminary construction could start in 2024, and commercial operation is anticipated in 2025.
We organized a community engagement event for local residents on August 17, 2023. We thank those who attended. The project is progressing towards the permitting phase in the autumn of 2023.
Management and Operations
Upon completion, the high-quality technical and commercial management of the solar park will be handled by Ilmatar’s subsidiary, Ilmatar Service Oy.
